- John was born in South Korea in 1972, and grew up in the U.S.A. since he was 6 months old. He placed his faith in Jesus as his Savior early in his childhood. Growing up, he always sensed a Divine purpose for His life. At the age of thirteen, God revealed to him His plan to use him to teach God’s Word to others. Doors began to open; John began to teach…and he continues to teach today. In the summer of 2002, John exchanged his life in America for a new life in Brazil. In 2003, God used John to plant Igreja Vivendo em Cristo in Curitiba. In 2005, he moved to Campo Mourão to become the director of the Calvary Chapel Bible College of Brazil. In 2007, he returned to Curitiba to establish and serve as the pastor of Calvary.
